Accessibility
Everyone should be able to read this site, buy gear, and request a repair. That is the standard we hold this site to, the same way we hold a seam to the weather.
01 · What the site does now
If your system asks for reduced motion, the site listens — animations and scroll effects are switched off. Links and buttons show a visible outline when you navigate by keyboard. Images carry descriptive alt text, and pages are structured with headings so screen readers can move through them.
Nothing on the site autoplays sound, and no content flashes.
02 · Where we are still working
We are a small team and some older pages are still being brought up to the current standard — contrast, form labelling, and alt text are under continuing review. We would rather tell you that plainly than claim a certificate we have not earned.
03 · Report an issue
If anything on this site blocks you — a control you cannot reach, text you cannot read, a form that will not submit — message us on Instagram @hiu.nepal with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within two hours, and fixes go to the top of the bench.
